Global and Local Operator Services

Triton has developed a call routing strategy to encompass international and multilingual originated calls.  With the ever-increasing need of companies to do business in foreign countries, the language barrier needs to be bridged.  Realizing this, Triton offers Global operator service to its clients.  Now, based on the originating country code, a person from Mexico could have a bilingual operator speaking Spanish and English if the call was to be terminated in North America.  Here are a few features that Triton offers in core services:

  • Canadian and U.S. call centers

  • Patented language routing with multiple language support

  • Live/Auto validations for collection, bill to third and credit/calling card

  • Accurate reporting

  • Multilingual Translation Services

  • 24/7 Rapid connections to Translators

  • Multiple language interpretation

  • Custom designed language packages

  • Language based reporting by call volume and country

  • International Conference Calls

Local operator services are more commonly used today, as 0+ is a billing mechanism initiated by pressing 0 prior to making a call, and billing it to a calling card, credit card, collect, person- to- person or a third number. These calls differ from direct dial 1+ in that all operator service calls pass through either an automated or live operator. Primarily Hotel guests, pay phone users, hospital patients and prison inmates make such calls. While direct-dial rates have plummeted over the last year, operator service rates have increased, as it gets more expensive to talk to a live operator. Since the user pays for all calls, the property is not subject to any credit checks, which makes it a simple and fast implementation of service. Triton Hospitality Communications Inc. captures all the 0+ calls for the customer and pays them a large portion of that service billing every month.

Global Origination and Termination

Triton is able to deliver Global operator services via Carrier Identification Codes (CIC’s) over Feature Group D (FGD) circuits.  Tritons’ ability to access these identification codes enables them to deliver the traffic and bill from different countries.  Triton has negotiated over 85 interconnection agreements that allow their customers to utilize Triton’s InterExchange Carrier (IXC) FGD trunk groups to deliver Switched Access (SA) and EAS/Local terminating traffic.

With ability to capture this origination and destination data, Triton also offers the following revenue generating streams:

  •  ITFS (International Toll Free Services) Originating from over  85 countries

  • Competitive rates

Triton’s international prepaid phone card has a very competitive per minute rate(s) and all cards have recharge capabilities. Triton can supply pre-paid cards in a number of different packages with various minute options and always with the customers’ choice of artwork. These "PAKS" will generate a revenue stream or can be used for customer retention by using them for giveaways.

ITFS (International Toll Free Service)

Triton offers International Toll Free Service (ITFS). As with regular ITFS, this service provides carriers with extensive international reach for toll-free service, but its most notable benefit is speed to market.

Triton’s ITFS can be implemented rapidly. Each carrier is assigned a specific PIN that enables Triton to quickly and easily identify the origin of the traffic. Triton then routes the traffic by utilizing an already-established international toll-free access number.

Triton’s International Toll Free Service (ITFS) routes calls from over 85 countries worldwide and ends up virtually instantaneously at the customer's site. The carrier's customers can then use their access numbers to reach Triton,s full billing option operator service platform from around the world. If the caller is not using a touch-tone phone, the call will be automatically transferred to a live operator. The operator will collect the caller's information and then complete the call.

Advanced Network Solutions for the Hospitality Industry

This is a revenue-generating plan for the Hospitality Industry and it is quite simple. Triton captures all of the 0+ calls and pays a commission back to the property based on the Gross Charge. Triton is the first company in Canada to capture Canadian 0+ as well as those originating in the USA.
